MAX GPE WHITE Color Blending

THE MAX GPE WHITE IS BASED FROM AN AROMATIC BASED EPOXY SYSTEM.

With the inherent nature of most commercial grade epoxy chemical composition that contains aromatic-based compounds,  a measure of color shift must be considered. The ultra bright white pigmentation of the MAX GPE WHITE will magnify the color shift when the base resin mildly darken over time or under direct UV exposure.

We have done extensive efforts to reduce the color instability by incorporating anti-oxidants, UV stabilizers, ozone protectors, optical brighteners and other proprietary processes.

Normally this controlled color shift is visually unnoticeable and barely detectable with primary colors (red, yellow, blue) but with the high contrast nature of the white color will appear as higher measure of discoloration.

It is highly recommended that the ultra bright white of the MAX GPE WHITE A/B should be doped with a small amount of darker primary color as well as applying an aliphatic based polyurethane top coat (MAX SEAL Marine Grade top coat) must be applied to retard yellowing under direct sunlight exposure.
